How to use this section:The verses are divided into three parts: Preschoolers memorize the words in bold. Elementary kids memorize the words in bold and italics. Teens and parents learn the complete verse.

21Have a candlelit dinner, and read Matthew 2:1-12. If you have advent candles, explain the significance of the different candles to your children. |
22Gather around a piano, guitar, or CD player, and sing your favorite carols. |
23Take a drive, and look at the Christmas lights in different neighborhoods. |
24Watch your family's Christmas movie choice. |
Week 4: The Angels Worship God |

25Celebrate with your family, praising God for sending his Son, Jesus, to be our Savior. |
26Read Luke 2:13-20. Start memorizing Luke 2:14. |
27Encourage your kids to enjoy their new gifts, but also to share them with siblings and friends. |
28Discuss whether God's favor has rested on you. Have you given your life to Jesus? |
29Find some time to relax with your kids. It's been a busy week. |
30Review all the verses from December. See who can recite their verses perfectly. |
31If your kids are old enough to ring in the New Year, curl up on the couch together and count down the seconds. |
