How to use this section:The verses are divided into three parts: Preschoolers memorize the words in bold. Elementary kids memorize the words in bold and italics. Teens and parents learn the complete verse.

7When did a friend, sister, or brother help you during a difficult time? When did you help someone else? |
8Enjoy "camping" out with friends. Ask your parents to help you roast hot dogs and s'mores. |

14A good friend doesn't have to be someone your age. Befriend an elderly person on your street or a younger child at church. |
15Help a mom in your neighborhood by offering to babysit her kids. |

19Has a friend's truthfulness ever hurt? If you listened, you became a better person. Why is that person a better friend than one who remains silent? |
20Read Proverbs 27:5-11 to understand your memory verse in its context. |
21Go berry picking with friends. Eat some but save some for Friday. |
22Make pies or can some of yesterday's "harvest." Your family will appreciate your hard work. |
23Read I Samuel 20:1-23 to find out how honesty in a friend can make the difference between life and death. |

26Who are your really close friends? Think about activities you haven't done yet that you'd like to do together this summer. |

28Find a book or video about animals you and your friends enjoy and learn some wacky facts to surprise them. |
29Invite your friend to the zoo. See if you can find your favorite animals there. |
30Read James 3:13-18 for advice on being a good friend. |
31Review all your July verses. |
